Jam Band 2024-25

Fridays, 3.20-4.35pm
 
Jam Band is an exciting and fun opportunity, open to any student who has been studying an instrument (including voice) for six months or longer. Students are guided through the experience of collaborating with musician peers. Bandmates work together to arrange pieces, including song structure and instrumentation. Students are coached, while learning nuances of playing together as part of a band, including keeping in time, providing support, and staying in tune. This class is not a substitution for private instrumental study, rather a supplement for a full musical experience. Students will have a blast performing a mini-concert for family and friends at the end of the semester.
