Semester One
BALLET (JK/K)
Ballerinas learn and build upon basic introduction to classical positions, ballet steps, and simple choreography. Our class includes fun exercises while enhancing coordination and self- awareness, along with rhythmic and motor skills. Your child will experience story-telling with movement, free dance, and explore creativity.
BALLET I
Students develop basic ballet technique, emphasizing the five positions. Ballerinas practice posture and utilize core muscles while practicing pliés, tendu variations, and center work that involves gross-motor skills. Students practice basic ballet technique through both barre and center work. Ballerinas learn postures, steps, and choreography of traditional ballet. Ballet exercises and routines emphasize vocabulary and dance etiquette. Like all classes, dancers explore creative expression and musicality. Although very different than tap, we encourage students to pair this class along with Tap I.
CHEERLEADING DANCE CLASSES
Cheerleading Dance Jr. (JK/K) and Cheerleading Dance (1st-4th) is designed for elementary children, both new and experienced dancers. Class activities help students learn new skills, improve body awareness, and collaborate with others. Choreography focuses on improving performance skills including confidence and stage presence, along with coordination of movements with music. Focus of this class leans towards physical activity, kinesthetics, and overall movement.
HIP HOP
Hip Hop is one of our most popular classes! This dance form is a high-energy dance style with a liveliness unlike other traditional dance forms. Dancers learn fundamental and beginner technical elements, while learning this modern style of dance, all in age-appropriate ways.

TAP (JK/K)
Dancers learn how to move while creating music with their feet! Class curriculum develops musicality, balance, rhythm, and timing. Students learn traditional tap vocabulary and steps. Age-appropriate choreography includes fundamental and basic sequencing.
TAP I
Tap is the art of math, music, and dance combined! Curriculum includes a variety of tap steps while also developing overall strength, balance, and coordination. Tap exercises focus on clarity of sound, rhythm, timing, and overall musicality. Curriculum also emphasizes the memorization of sequencing and choreography. Although very different than ballet, we encourage students to pair this class along with Ballet I.

TUMBLING CLASSES
Tumbling is a fun-filled class perfect for everyone! Class work encourages overall body awareness with focus on strengthening core and stabilizing muscles. Tumbling is a great compliment to gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, or for anyone wants to learn how to cartwheel or just loves tumbling. Of course, time with friends is always fun!
