UKULELE CLASS
Tuesday - 2:30pm-3:15pm - September through December (Beginning September 12)
Open to JK and Kindergarten

This class is open to all new & returning students. Differentiated curriculum engages students of all levels. Class material introduces technique, notes, chords & strumming patterns to foster little ukulele players! The ukulele is very similar to the guitar but with fewer strings & gentler on small fingers. We’ll learn songs that everyone loves - join your friends & start hamming on the ukulele. This class is 12 weeks long with a short concert for family and friends at the end of the semester.

Open to 1st-4th Grade

Students will learn the basics of guitar through the introduction of reading & fun music exercises. Students will learn chords, strumming patterns, scales, guitar notations & more! Classes are fun & educational! This class is a twelve-week class with a short concert for family & friends at the end of the semester.

Lower School
Pickin' & Pizza
Fridays - 3:30pm-4:30pm - September through December (Beginning September 8)
Open to 2nd-4th Grade

Students will learn about the fundamentals of songwriting, including song structure, melody, rhythm, lyric writing, and arrangement. Students will explore different genres of music and experience writing with software and recording equipment. Class curriculum and projects reinforce the fundamentals of songwriting. Each Friday, we will pick on instruments and eat some pizza! Our class will perform new work throughout the semester. No previous musical student is necessaryl, but students who play may bring in their instrument.
